Have you ever wondered what it takes to make brewing beer a career? Maybe you've thought about leaving your current career to pursue your passion? This week, we talk to Casey Brooks, a brewer at The Alchemist in Stowe, VT. She spent her early career as a teacher in Brooklyn, NY before pursuing her passion for craft beer brewing. 

We talk to her about how she discovered this passion, what made her decide to pursue it full-time, what it's like being a woman in a male-dominated industry, and the transferable skills used making the shift from teacher to brewer. She also gives us a "day in the life" of a brewer.
